It is best to see your GP or Midwife as soon as you know that you are pregnant. If you contact our reception team and advise them that you are pregnant they will be able to either book an appointment with the GP or provide information on contacting the local Midwife.
Some tests, such as screening for sickle cell and thalassaemia should be done before you’re 10 weeks’ pregnant.
