For some services, you do not need to wait for your GP to refer you; you can self-refer or get advice.

NHS e-Referral (Choose & Book) Tracking
If you've been referred to a specialist through the NHS e-Referral Service, booking your appointment online is easy, safe and secure.
You can use the service to book, check, change and cancel appointments online.

Once you have received your letter (normally around 2 weeks) you will need the following information to login:
- Your date of birth
- Reference number (this will be on the first page of your letter)
- Password (this will be on the second page of your letter)
